“Real MPC”? What? Who are you????There wouldn’t be an MPC if it wasn’t for us. Give it a break. And this is the respect you show? If you want to be taken serious – or at least what you’ve written to be taken serious, then first at least have the courage to post who you really are if even in a private email and not on the site (or give us your phone number and we’ll call you), and then do your best to make sense in what you are trying to say. Opinion? Are you that stupid? It’s called history (something you show to have no respect for or comprehension of), and plenty of people want to hear it. Before you go about preaching sermons on friendship and airing dirty laundry, get your facts straight. Loyalty breeds loyalty (something we’ve been since day 1 of being back on the scene). Backstabbing and threats does not. Many attempts were made to keep the laundry cleaning indoors, but there wasn’t anyone capable of or even willing to clean it up in the first place – and after all these years!!!!!. You said, “I wont ever turn my back on a friend.” That’s great to know. It’s too bad CAP didn’t feel the same way. This stuff wasn’t just pulled out of our asses. We, the crew’s creators, gain nothing by putting down or embarrassing our own crew. And you gain nothing by spouting remarks that make no sense. Get it right. And even with this email we mean no disrespect but look to bring the crew together – because it is about the CREW, not any one person! MPC!!!!!!! And not for nothing, along with a real name, could you leave a REAL email address the next time? Thanks.
for those of you who know me i am wedge 2 . I AM along with slip 3 and speed 3 the ORIGINAL founding father of morris park crew. i was there with COLT and ACE 5 the original 5 members of what has become in mine and others opinions the graffitti crew that had sustained the expressionist art form from the mid 1970’s to its amazing revival today. i see that there is much revisionist writing in this forum changing the truth of the crew’s origin and this frankly insults me. some of you are getting off track about what it meant to be m.p.c. respect for other people’s work is above all else the most important tenant of what the early taggers stood for. be proud be truthful and bomb away…..jamie wedge
in the 80’s i resented CAP for what he did and what he stood for and the problems he brought to all the crew members. even though i retired early i always followed and admired the work of all the mpc members after all MPC was mine slip and speed 3’s creation . fast forward 20 years later and i got to know CAP , both of us working together for the same painting company . time heals all wounds. and if the truth doesnt come out in the wash it comes out in the rinse. LONG LIVE THE MORRIS PARK CREW………………
